    Dr. Laura Aversano had been practicing dentistry for 20 years in Illinois prior to her recent move to Colorado. Dr. Aversano was the sole owner of Manhattan Dental Care in Manhattan, IL for the past 14 years. As part of her continued commitment to giving back, Dr. Aversano participated in the Illinois Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped, Operation Care Package, her local food pantry and her own Veteran’s Day Program. Manhattan Dental Care hosted a “candy buy back” where children receive $1 per pound for Halloween candy donated to Operation Care Package. Dr. Aversano matched the donations and Manhattan Dental Care collected more 1000 lbs of candy every year.
